Raus! Untoten! Fringeworks Publishers are bringing out a set of anthologies under the Raus! Untoten! banner and have accepted mine to appear in the series  (Nazi - Zombie mash up).  Unfortunately my story won't appear until next July but if anybody's interested over here in the UK, Fringeworks will be at Cardiff's first horror convention, Scardiff, in October and will be promoting the first of the set.  I'm hoping to go, visiting a Horror Convention will be a real change to my day job in a secondary school - or will it?

Karen's Story, the second in The Museum of Fractured Lives series, is free for Amazon Kindle until 16th Oct. Karen's Story is contemporary women’s fiction (although some men may enjoy it too) about a single woman’s quest to find a man to father her baby. She tempts a work colleague to commit adultery. But he has a secret and their affair has devastating consequences. At approximately 8,500 words the book can be described as a long short story or a ‘flash’ novella.
To celebrate I am running a prize draw and full details are on my blog: http://sallyjenkins.wordpress.com/2013/10/12/write-a-review-and-win...

Title Advice?

Posted by Daniel Hale on December 14, 2015 at 18:29 0 Comments

I just completed, as near as I can tell, my first book: a collection stories disguised as a novel. I do currently have a working title that I was initially happy with, BUT it may now be too obscure or inapplicable.

The title as it is now is "The Psalterdemalion." This is a combination of two of my favorite words: Psalter, which is a small book of psalms, and Tatterdemalion, which is a man dressed in multicolored rags and tatters. My thinking was that the man character, a story thief,…
