“You’re dead” I tell my friend “I went to your funeral last week”.
“Yeah I know”.
She looks remarkably healthy. No sign of rigor mortis or things decomposing. She sits

She felt the cold chill in the room. Her pulse raced. She felt sick. Pulling the bedclothes over her head, she wasn’t going to look; she knew who would be there. It happened every Halloween. She thought this year would be different; she tried so hard to be good, kind and considerate to others to amend for what she had done in the past. 'Scraps' the National Flash-Fiction 2013 Anthology arrived in the post today. My story 'Penitence' is in it. I'm still amazed it was included with the other 64 stories. I like my stories , send them off to competitions but truly never think they are winners :) Is this normal to think this way? :)
