Steve Downes

Sometime poet/playwright/story-teller/joker and novelist, Steve's plays produced, performed and given awards are: Until Morning 1995, Voices 1996, For God and Country 1997, The Creator 2006. Steve has poems and stories published in magazines and anthologies in Ireland, the UK and the USA. His poetry books to-date are: The Pagan Field 1996 Celtic Echoes 2000 Side Angles 2005 (with Roger Hudson) Urbania 2010 online collection.  His first novel is Cosmogonic Marbles (part 1 of the Botolf Chronicles). 

Steve lives and works in Ireland, he's not sure where himself.

I just completed, as near as I can tell, my first book: a collection stories disguised as a novel. I do currently have a working title that I was initially happy with, BUT it may now be too obscure or inapplicable.
