"I just got published there as well -- Bad Trip: Rich young tourists from a Third World city search for a 'lost tribe' of Scottish nomads. What could possibly go wrong? @Zachary: I'm looking up your pieces there, right now."

"Much thanks, Abbie! Briggs is on a much-needed hiatus. Shame that it had to coincide with 99Fiction growing, but when Austin starts up again in September or so, hopefully more people from this site will begin participating there."

"I'm partial to capping my flash fiction at 55 words, and recently, i've been joining the monthly contest hosted by Austin Briggs. Since this thread is all about the bragging, I should point out that my crime story…"

I wish there was a way that the Daily Stories could be kept up longer.I realize that limiting their availability encourages people to visit the site more frequently. But perhaps there could be a way to just disable comments, but retain the stories -- and the comments from the 5-day critique period. That way, there's still a specific window of time to offer comments, but at least those of us who are late to the proverbial party -- or new to the site, for that matter -- still get a chance to read…See More

I'm still working at the story-a-week thing, and keeping up with it so far. One thing I'm wondering is who I should show them to to get feedback. Some of these I want to put in the novel/collection…Continue
